Enquiry & Engineering Review

Design Review & DFM Analysis

Every project at Audhe Industries begins with a thorough engineering review. When you submit your drawing, 3D model or sample, our engineers perform a Design for Manufacturability (DFM) analysis — evaluating wall thickness, draft angles, parting lines, gate locations, machining datums and tolerance stack-up before any tooling investment is made.

This proactive review catches design issues early, reduces tooling rework and ensures the most cost-efficient manufacturing route is selected — whether aluminium gravity die casting, pressure die casting, investment casting, iron casting or CNC machining from billet.

Incoming Material Control

Material Selection & Incoming Approval

Once the order is confirmed, raw materials are selected and approved before a single kilogram enters the foundry or machine shop. All aluminium alloys (LM2, LM4, LM6, LM24, LM25), grey and ductile iron grades, stainless steel, nickel alloys and engineering plastics are verified by optical emission spectrometer (OES) for exact chemical composition.

Only materials that pass our incoming inspection — including visual checks, dimensional verification of bar/ingot stock and spectrometer analysis — are released to production. Non-conforming materials are quarantined and returned to the supplier.

OES Spectrometer

Chemical composition confirmed for every incoming batch of aluminium, iron and special alloys

Mill Test Certificate

Supplier MTCs reviewed and filed for full traceability — especially for stainless, nickel and titanium

Alloy Grade Match

In-House Tool & Die Making, Mould Development

In-house tool and die making for aluminium casting moulds at Audhe Industries

Toolroom & Die Making

Tool & Die Making — In-House for Faster Turnaround

Our in-house toolroom is one of our strongest competitive advantages. Rather than outsourcing mould and die manufacture, we design and machine all gravity die casting dies, pressure die casting dies, sand casting patterns, CNC fixtures and investment casting wax patterns ourselves — using high-grade H13 and P20 tool steels, EDM (Electrical Discharge Machining) and high-speed CNC milling.

This gives us direct control over tool quality, lead time and cost — and allows us to make engineering changes quickly without external delays. Export-quality moulds are also supplied to international clients on request.

CNC Milled Tooling

EDM (Wire & Sink)

Production — Casting & Precision Machining

Casting, CNC Machining & Fabrication

With approved tooling in place and materials verified, production begins. Our foundry and machine shop operate in close coordination — castings move directly from the foundry to CNC machining when required, eliminating unnecessary handling and delay.

Our production capabilities span aluminium gravity die casting, aluminium pressure die casting, green sand and shell mould iron casting, investment die casting, multi-axis CNC turning and milling, metal fabrication and industrial plastic components.

Aluminium Foundry

Gravity die, sand and pressure die casting of LM2–LM25 alloys in batch sizes from 50 to 50,000 pieces

Final Inspection & QC Documentation

Quality Inspection — 100% Before Dispatch

Every component undergoes 100% final inspection before it is approved for packing. Our quality lab uses CMM (Co-ordinate Measuring Machine), surface roughness testers, hardness testers, OES spectrometer, precision gauges and visual inspection — all against the customer's approved engineering drawing.

Rejected components are segregated immediately, root cause identified and corrective action documented. No non-conforming parts leave our facility.

Process FAQ

Common Questions About Our Manufacturing Process

Questions from buyers, engineers and procurement teams about how Audhe Industries manages the manufacturing process for aluminium castings, CNC components and die casting.

For new aluminium gravity die castings, the total lead time from drawing approval to first article samples is typically 4–8 weeks — including DFM review, die manufacture, trial casting and FAI. Subsequent production orders (after tooling approval) run on 2–4 week lead times depending on batch size and surface treatment requirements.
Yes — 100% in-house. Our toolroom designs and machines all gravity die casting dies, pressure die casting dies, investment casting wax dies, sand casting patterns, CNC fixtures and jigs. Using H13 and P20 tool steels with CNC milling and EDM (wire and sink). This gives us direct control over quality, cost and engineering change lead times.
Yes. We prepare a DFM (Design for Manufacturability) report as part of our standard quotation process for all casting projects. This covers wall thickness recommendations, draft angle requirements, parting line placement, gate and runner design, and any design modifications that would improve casting yield or reduce machining time. No tooling commitment is required before you review and approve the DFM report.
We offer shot blasting, powder coating, liquid painting, hard anodising, decorative anodising, zinc/nickel electroplating, T6 heat treatment (for LM25 aluminium castings), annealing (for iron castings), and vacuum impregnation (for pressure-tight hydraulic castings). Surface treatments are coordinated by our production team and covered by our QC documentation.
Standard export documentation with every international shipment: commercial invoice, detailed packing list, Certificate of Origin (COO), Certificate of Conformance (COC), and OES material analysis report. On request: PPAP documentation, First Article Inspection (FAI) report, hardness and surface roughness test reports, and mill test certificates (MTC) for raw material.
Yes. We regularly support new product introductions with prototype batches of 50–200 pieces — using the same production tooling and process as full production, so there are no surprises when you scale up. High-volume production capacity reaches 50,000+ aluminium castings per month, with dedicated production scheduling for key accounts.
