Custom metal fabrication in mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium — laser cutting, MIG/TIG welding, bending, rolling and surface coating. Prototype to bulk production across India.
Metal fabrication is the process of transforming raw metal sheet, plate, tube and structural sections into finished components, assemblies and structures through a combination of cutting, forming, joining and finishing operations. It is the backbone of manufacturing across automotive, electrical, machinery, construction and agricultural industries.
At Audhe Industries, our metal fabrication facility in Coimbatore handles mild steel (MS), stainless steel (SS 304 & SS 316) and aluminium — processing sheet thicknesses from 0.5 mm up to 12 mm, with sheet sizes up to 2500 mm × 1250 mm. Our CNC laser cutting delivers clean, burr-free profiles on complex shapes with minimal material wastage. From prototype one-offs to high-volume repeat production, we bring the same precision and quality commitment to every job.
We serve as a complete one-stop fabrication partner — taking your design from raw material through cutting, bending, welding and surface treatment to a finished, ready-to-fit component or sub-assembly, reducing your supply chain complexity and lead time.
Precise, clean cuts in MS, SS and Al up to 2500 × 1250 mm with minimal wastage
Process selected by material — TIG for SS precision, MIG for volume, arc for structural
Press brake bending and plate rolling for structural, circular and custom profile shapes
Powder coating, painting, epoxy coating and galvanising for protection and aesthetics
Our fabrication facility handles every stage of your metal component's journey — from raw sheet to a finished, coated and inspection-verified part ready for your production line.
High-speed CNC laser cutting of sheet metal in mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium. Delivers burr-free edges, tight tolerances and complex profiles that punch tools cannot achieve — ideal for intricate shapes, slots, holes and cut-outs in a single operation with no tooling cost.
Our certified welders use the right process for your material and application. MIG welding (GMAW) for fast, strong welds in MS and aluminium volume production. TIG welding (GTAW) for high-quality, low-spatter welds on stainless steel and thin aluminium. Arc welding (SMAW) for heavy structural work and site repairs.
CNC press brake bending to precise angles on MS, SS and aluminium sheets — V-bends, U-channels, Z-profiles and custom box sections. Plate rolling for cylindrical shells, tanks, cones and curved structural elements. Both processes controlled to achieve consistent, repeatable profiles batch after batch.
Post-fabrication hole drilling to specified diameters and depths, thread tapping (metric and BSP), countersinking and counterboring. Angle grinding, disc grinding and bench grinding for weld seam finishing, chamfering and deburring. All secondary operations completed in-house without sub-contracting.
Comprehensive surface protection and finishing options to suit indoor and outdoor applications, aesthetic requirements and corrosion environments. All coatings applied after proper surface preparation — shot blasting, phosphating or chemical pre-treatment as appropriate for the substrate and coating system.
For clients requiring assembled components rather than loose fabricated parts, we offer assembly services including nut and bolt assembly, stud welding, press fitting, hardware insertion, bracket assembly and complete sub-assembly build. Assembled sub-assemblies are inspected and delivered ready for installation.
Our fabrication shop is equipped to work across three primary material families. Each has different forming, welding and finishing requirements — our experienced team selects the right process for each material and application.
The most widely used fabrication material — cost-effective, strong, easily welded and formed. Used for structural frames, machine guards, panels, enclosures, brackets and general engineering fabrications. Surface treatment (painting, galvanising or powder coating) required for corrosion protection.
Chosen for its corrosion resistance, hygiene properties and clean aesthetic finish. SS 304 for standard industrial and food-grade applications. SS 316 for marine, chemical and higher-corrosion environments. Requires careful TIG welding to preserve corrosion resistance — our welders are trained in SS passivation procedures.
Lightweight (one-third the weight of steel) with excellent corrosion resistance and good formability. Ideal for weight-sensitive applications in automotive panels, aerospace ground support equipment, electrical enclosures and decorative trim. MIG welding with dedicated aluminium wire and liner. Anodising available for enhanced surface protection.
Every fabrication job at Audhe Industries follows a structured process to ensure your component is made right first time and delivered on schedule.
Submit your 2D drawings (DXF, DWG, PDF) or 3D files. Our team reviews geometry, material, thickness and quantity to provide a competitive quote with lead time within 24 hours.
Certified raw material (MS/SS/Al sheet, plate, tube or section) is procured from approved suppliers with material certificates. Material is inspected on receipt — thickness, grade and surface condition verified before cutting begins.
DXF files are nested and programmed for CNC laser cutting. Nesting maximises material yield. Complex profiles cut by laser; straight lines can be sheared for efficiency. Parts are de-burred and labelled for traceability.
Cut blanks are formed to the required shape using CNC press brakes. Bend sequence is programmed to achieve the correct geometry without collision. Rolling produces cylindrical or conical shells. First-off parts are dimensionally checked before batch production proceeds.
Fabricated parts are jigged and tack-welded for alignment before final welding. Weld sequence is planned to control distortion. Stainless steel joints are back-purged with argon for oxide-free root passes. Welded assemblies are straightened and re-checked for dimensional accuracy after welding.
Holes, threads and countersinks are added after welding where required. Weld seams are ground flush or profile-blended. Surface grinding or polishing is applied where appearance or surface finish specification demands it.
Pre-treatment (shot blasting, phosphating or chemical cleaning) followed by the specified coating — powder coating, spray painting, epoxy or galvanising. Coating thickness is checked with a dry film thickness gauge. Colour matching to RAL or BS standards available.
Finished components are visually and dimensionally inspected against drawing. Critical dimensions checked with measuring instruments. Parts are individually wrapped, protected and packed for safe transport. COC and inspection report supplied on request.
CNC laser cutting is the most versatile and precise method of cutting sheet metal profiles. A high-powered laser beam (CO₂ or fibre) is focused through a nozzle onto the sheet surface, melting and vaporising the metal along the programmed path. The result is a clean, accurate cut edge with a heat-affected zone smaller than any mechanical cutting method.
Welding is the foundation of metal fabrication — and the quality of a weld determines the strength, appearance and service life of the assembly. At Audhe Industries, our welders are skilled in all three primary welding processes and select the optimal method for each job:
The right surface treatment extends the service life of a fabricated component dramatically — particularly for mild steel in outdoor or humid environments. We offer a range of coating options and select the system best suited to your application and environment:
