Forged Wheel Spacers Engineered for Fitment, Strength & Safety

Wider track, better corner. Audhe hub centric wheel spacers push your wheels outward so rims and tyres sit flush with the fender line, giving the vehicle a planted, aggressive stance while improving cornering traction and handling stability.

Because each spacer is bored to match the vehicle's hub bore exactly, the wheel is centred on the hub itself rather than on the lug nuts alone — reducing vibration at speed and keeping wheel run-out within tolerance. Wider spacers also open clearance for larger wheels, wider tyres and big-brake kits without rubbing on the strut, control arm or chassis rail.

Every spacer is forged and CNC machined from certified 6061-T6 or 7075-T6 aluminium billet at our in-house Coimbatore facility, paired with ISO 898-1 Grade 12.9 wheel studs and ISO 898-2 Grade 10 lug nuts, and 100% dimensionally inspected before dispatch.

Engineering Detail

What Makes an Audhe Wheel Spacer

Every feature below is built into the spacer at the forging and CNC machining stage, not added afterward — from the alloy billet through to the fastener set supplied with each spacer.

Forged 6061-T6 7075-T6 aluminium billet for wheel spacer manufacturing Material

Forged 6061-T6 & 7075-T6 Aluminium

Audhe uses only high-grade forged 6061-T6 or 7075-T6 billet aluminium alloy for every wheel spacer — never cast aluminium, which is more porous and prone to fatigue cracking under repeated load. Forging aligns the metal's grain structure for greater strength and durability.

  • 6061-T6: tensile strength ≥ 310 MPa — standard-duty passenger car spacers
  • 7075-T6: tensile strength ≥ 572 MPa — heavy-duty, SUV, towing & motorsport applications
  • Closed-die forging aligns grain flow for higher fatigue resistance than cast aluminium

ISO 898-1 Grade 12.9 Wheel Studs

Matching wheel studs are manufactured from high-strength JIS SCM440 alloy steel, meeting ISO 898-1 Property Class 12.9 — the highest common bolt property class — for reliable clamping force under repeated load cycles.

  • Tensile strength ≥ 1,220 MPa
  • Fatigue tested to 2,000,000+ stress cycles without failure (per applicable test standard)
  • Ultimate tensile load ≥ 152,000 N; hardness ≥ 395 HV

Cross-section diagram of 60-degree full-cone seat fastener design for wheel spacers Design

Full-Cone Seat Fastener Design

Audhe wheel spacers use a full-cone (60°) seat design at every fastener point, giving a larger contact area, more even force distribution and a more secure, repeatable fit than partial-cone or ball-seat alternatives.

  • Larger seat contact area for even clamp-load distribution
  • Reduces the risk of loosening under vibration
  • Consistent, repeatable installation feel for installers

Multi-Stage Hub-Centric Design

Building on standard hub-centric wheel spacers, Audhe's multi-stage hub-centric design further reduces the chance of high-speed vibration. Bench and road testing shows the effect is measurably better than common single-stage alternatives, fitting more precisely, more safely and more stably.

  • CNC-bored to the vehicle's exact hub diameter
  • Reduces wheel run-out and high-speed vibration versus lug-centric designs
  • Consistent centering across production batches
Side knurling on a wheel spacer designed to improve heat dissipation and increase surface area Finish

Side Knurling for Heat Dissipation

A knurled side pattern enhances the appearance of the spacer while also enlarging the surface area exposed to air, improving heat dissipation and reducing internal stress — supporting the performance, strength and durability of the finished spacer.

  • Increased surface area improves cooling airflow
  • Reduces internal stress concentration
  • Distinctive finish available in natural or black-anodized machined look
Wheel spacer with machined disassembly groove for easy removal with a screwdriver Serviceability

Disassembly Grooves for Easy Removal

Small notches machined into the corner of each spacer make it easy to dismount without special tools, improving the fitment experience for installers. A screwdriver placed in the limited clearance between the axle plate and spacer allows quick, simple removal.

  • No special tooling required for removal
  • Reduces installer time on fitment and rotation jobs
  • Standard on all Audhe wheel spacer sizes

FAQs

Wheel Spacer Questions, Answered

Hub centric wheel spacers are precision-bored spacers fitted between the wheel hub and the wheel rim. The spacer's center bore is machined to match the vehicle hub diameter exactly, so the wheel is centered on the hub itself rather than relying only on the lug nuts or wheel bolts, which reduces vibration and keeps wheel run-out within tolerance.
Properly engineered wheel spacers manufactured to correct tolerances, fitted with the correct grade of extended studs or bolts and lug nuts, and installed at the manufacturer's specified torque, are used safely on passenger cars, SUVs and off-road vehicles worldwide. Spacer thickness should not exceed the available thread engagement of the wheel studs, and installation should always follow the vehicle and spacer manufacturer's fitment instructions.
Audhe manufactures wheel spacers from 3mm up to 50mm thickness. The correct thickness depends on the vehicle's suspension geometry, desired wheel offset, tyre and wheel size, and available clearance to the strut, control arm and chassis. We recommend confirming the required thickness with your fitment specialist, or sharing your vehicle and wheel details so our engineering team can recommend a size.
A hub centric wheel spacer is bored to match the vehicle's hub diameter, so the hub itself centers the wheel. A lug centric (non-hub-centric) spacer relies on the lug nuts or wheel bolts alone to center the wheel, which can allow slight off-center seating and vibration at higher speeds. Audhe's multi-stage hub-centric design is manufactured to the vehicle's exact hub bore for a precise, vibration-free fit.
Yes. Audhe forges and CNC machines wheel spacers to custom bolt patterns (PCD), center bores, thicknesses and hardware specifications for OEM, private-label and aftermarket brand customers. Yes, Audhe supplies matched sets with extended wheel studs manufactured to ISO 898-1 Property Class 12.9 and lug nuts manufactured to ISO 898-2 Property Class 10, sized correctly for the ordered spacer thickness.
